Job Summary
The Process & Data Lead (PDL), Plan to Produce will be responsible for overseeing data and processes for demand management, production planning, procurement, manufacturing, and sales and distribution in SAP (PP/MM/SD). This responsibility includes SAP data and material processes for procurement, production, and sales and distribution processes. The position will be the subject matter expert for the organization related to plan to produce data and processes, develop documentation for standard operating procedures (SOPs), and provide training to primary users. Expectation will be to lead the oversight of data and processes for procurement, production, and sales and distribution transactions. This includes troubleshooting errors with line-of-business primary users and providing root cause analysis for continuous improvement. The PDL proactively supports stakeholder requests, conducts system and data analysis, produces monthly and ad-hoc reports, and provides KPIs using SAP/BW tools. Duties & Responsibilties
  • Day-to-day management and oversight of all data and material processes in support of the line-of-business. Activities directly influence the organizations achievement of targeted inventory and financial goals.
  • Responsible for oversight and direction to line-of-business on data and material processes impacting procurement, production, and sales and distribution in collaboration with all areas of the organization.
  • Audits procurement, production, and sales and distribution transactions and troubleshoots errors with the line-of-business.
  • Verifies accuracy of data, material, and costing with regard to purchase orders, production orders and applicable sales orders.
  • Assists with the creation and distribution of organizational data reports as required.
  • Provides support to the supply chain, data management, controlling and production teams for identified projects and system integration. Evaluates data and setup for analysis of MRP, push and pull scheduling, shipments to vault and clients, and integration between Central and local site.
  • Defined process owner and alignment with Group Services and regional SAP subject matter experts. Assists in complex transactions involving Load Balancing, transfers between sites, and global and local supply chain changes.
  • Troubleshoots issues with sales orders, production orders, material configurations, etc.
  • Partners with department managers to fully understand user functionality, pain points, and areas with opportunity for improvement.
  • Develop and deliver clear, concise, and effective end user training and associated training materials.
  • Continues to learn and develop technical SAP and business expertise.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
  • 3+ years of procurement, production, and sales and distribution experience
  • 3+ years of SAP (PP/WM/SD) experience required
  • Strong Excel and reporting skills
  • Advanced analytical and problem solving skills
  • Business awareness of cost effective, inventory management
  • Ability to effectively operate in any organizational structure and interface with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to effectively manage changing and conflicting priorities and resolve appropriately
  • Demonstrates strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and negotiation skills
