Our Energy Division is currently seeking a Master Field Services Technician to work on Carbon Management programs. This position is located based in Columbus, OH.

The successful candidate will provide technical support in the conduct of field projects relating to Carbon Sequestration, specifically
- Oversight and coordination of field activities, such as:
*deep well drilling site preparation and closeout
*drilling operations for deep injection and monitoring wells
*collection of field data (well logging, coring, fluid samples)
- Interaction with vendors to obtain quotes and conditions for the above services
- Coordination of the procurement of the above services, including following procurement protocols
- Development of staffing plans for large, 24/7, long-term field activities
- Generate daily/weekly/monthly reports to document field activities
- Correlates and analyzes experimental data using specified formulas and procedures

THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS MUST BE MET TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION:
- Associate degree in Environmental Science, Civil Engineering Technology, Earth Sciences or equivalent, AND 5 10 years experience in an research oil and gas exploration and production and/or geologic sampling environment or high school diploma with 105 years experience in an oil and gas exploration and production and/or geologic sampling research environment
- 5X years of experience with field testing activities
- Supervisory experience of junior staff
- Experience in working with and overseeing vendors
- 5X years of experience of coordinating deep well construction activities
- 5X years of field data collection experience as well as oversight of data collection
- Significant travel for field activities; work hours will include periodic night and weekend shifts
THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS MUST BE MET TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION:
- Technical experience in drilling operations, ground water and/or geological sampling
