SUMMARY
The Enterprise Data Platform team is seeking an experienced technical manager to lead our data engineering team and data architects. This leadership role is critical to driving data delivery and advancing the team's capabilities on a modern data stack while migrating off a traditional on-prem environment. The ideal candidate would have experience: leading data development teams on a modern cloud data stack, implementing Cloud Data Ops (DevSecOps) and demonstrated delivery success on traditional tool stacks. This job requires a balance of day-to-day delivery and strategic vision for advancing data platform solutions for the entire enterprise. This role will require interactions with multiple Data Solutions teams, Integration teams and Enterprise Architecture teams to enable our business partners to provide world-class customer experiences.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in technology with emphasis in computer information systems or equivalent experience required. If equivalent experience, high school diploma required.
* Minimum three years of experience managing technology platforms and software engineers.
* Minimum 3+ years in a leadership role; demonstrated experience leading people and/or teams; directly or indirectly.
* Generally, 5 or more years of hands-on experience developing data platforms, data tools, and/or depth of data management technologies.
* Strong team building, change management and people management skills in a matrixed and geographically dispersed organization.
* Experience with traditional and modern data warehousing, data lake, analytics, and reporting technologies such as AWS/Azure/Cloud, Snowflake, Informatica, BOBJ, Data Vault 2.0, CI/CD, BI Tools.
* Knowledge of agile engineering practices, development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools (Jira, Slack, VersionOne).
* Knowledge of Data Ops practices, release automation and automated QA solutions
* Requires excellent analytical ability, consultative, communication, change management, presentation and management skills, strong judgment, and ability to effectively liaise with cross-functional stakeholders and optimize teams.
* A "bar-raiser" mentality, driven to motivate and lead teams in a high-performing culture and talent environment and able to provide direct, candid feedback to employees.
* Experience with Data Vault data modeling is a bonus.

In 2024, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
