Human Resources Assistant

Job Summary

The Human Resources Assistant provides clerical and general support to the Human Resources Department. The Human Resources Assistant promotes the effective flow of information and manages office services in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Fairmount Behavioral Health System.

Qualifications

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to demonstrate competency in the criteria listed in this job description. The specifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability to meet the minimum requirements for this position.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience: Administrative secretarial experience preferably in a health care setting.

Licensure/Certification: None

Knowledge: Must possess excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills; decision-making a nd problem-solving skills; adept in use of routine office equipment; efficiency in computer programs; ability to handle information as strictly confidential.

Physical Requirements: Ability to communicate verbally and in writing. Manual dexterity for typing and to access filing systems. Push, pull and lift up to 10 pounds. Intermittent sitting, standing, walking, bending, and stooping. Drug and alcohol free as evidenced by negative results of post-offer, pre-employment urine drug screen.
