The Omniseal Solutions division under the Mobility business is looking for an Engineering Technician to join the Saint-Gobain team.

The Engineering Technician will work for the Production Manager, Supervisor and Engineers to create new bills of materials and routers to support manufacturing in the execution of the manufacturing process. They will update existing routers with relevant information maintaining a concise replication of the manufacturing process, working with relevant departments, scheduling, quality, manufacturing, manufacturing engineering, quote team, customer service etc.

• Creates and maintains part numbers for materials and finished goods in the ERP system.
• Creates individual master routers representing a part number manufacturing plan.
• Creates Bills of Material (BOM)
• Interfaces with Customer Service, Scheduling, Quality, Quote Team, and Manufacturing to update existing work orders with new information, requirements, or improvements.
• Establishes costs on newly created part numbers in conjunction with the accounting department.
• Works with manufacturing to understand processes, manufacturing methods and run times and uses this information to keep the routing system up to date.
• Works closely with the Quote Team to efficiently maintain the item creation process.
• Maintains workspace before, during, and after each scheduled shift in accordance with 5S principles.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with company procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Contributes to team effort by performing other supporting tasks as directed by the Tooling Supervisor.

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Plastic or Mechanical) or AA degree with 3+ years of experience in lieu of Bachelors is required
• 3 years working in a manufacturing environment
• Understanding of blueprint reading, GD&T, and cost structure process
• QAD knowledge

We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates and provide the local pay range for this position, which is $25.00 to $35.00 per hour. This hourly pay rate offered can vary depending on location, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. In addition to the hourly base pay rate, this position is eligible for periodic bonus payments/an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount can be up to 10% of hourly rate based on company and individual performance measures. The total annual target cash range (Hourly Pay Rate plus Bonus, annualized (40 hrs/week * 52wks)) for this position, is $57,200 to $80,080.
