Chemical Processor - Off-Shift

Up to $23.24 per hour
Eligible for shift premium on 2nd or 3rd shift ($1.15 per hour)

We have immediate openings for Off-Shift Machine Operators at our Lakewood, OH facility. The primary function of these positions is to safely operate different types of equipment/machinery in order to process material and products to be shipped to customers.

Responsibilities:

• Work in a safe manner and follow all HS&EP regulations, policies and procedures.
• Float between our processing departments as needed based on production.
• Operate production equipment and machinery involved in material processing, including chemical operations.
• Adhere to all quality standards.
• Proactively make or suggest adjustments to equipment and/or processes in order to maintain the efficient and safe production of high quality material.
• Maintain good housekeeping in area/Department.
• Perform autonomous maintenance tasks as part of our preventive maintenance program.
• Use of rulers, micrometers, and SPC recording to check quality of material and products.
• Perform data entry work on a computer.
• Maintain all written records required to execute jobs.
• Reporting maintenance requirements for equipment used.
• Other duties as required by management.

Qualifications:

• High school Diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing facility preferred.
• Previous experience operating production machinery/equipment preferred.
• Previous experience in chemical processing a plus.
• Previous experience operating a tow motor a plus.
• Experience operating converting and automated equipment a plus.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Detail oriented.
• Strong communication skills.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs., climb ladders, operate a variety of hand tools and operate fork lift.

Working Conditions:

• Frequent lifting, standing, bending, twisting, stooping is required as part of this position.
• Majority of work is performed in the manufacturing area.

Off-Shift Hours:

• 2^nd Shift: 2:45pm-11:00pm
• 3^rd Shift: 10:45pm-7:00am
