The Quality Control Mechanical Inspector will be responsible to ensure purchased and manufactured parts meet all quality control procedures, engineering specifications and customer requirements in order to deliver product with the highest quality levels.

As a Quality Control Mechanical Inspector, you will be responsible for:

  • Inspecting parts, assemblies, subassemblies and test reports / certifications to drawings and specifications. Distributes all quality records and documents as required.
  • Using mechanical inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, Go/No-Go Functional gauges, precision pin and ring gauges, scales, tapes, straight-edges, inspection set-up, etc..) along with advanced inspection equipment
  • Initiating non-conformance reports (NCR) on all nonconforming parts and assemblies. Ensure that parts meet quality control procedures, engineering specifications and customer requirements
  • Initiating corrective action requests (CAR) when conditions adverse to quality are repetitive in nature
  • Performing specialized testing as required (i.e Helium Leak Test, XRF, etc...)
  • Identifying continuous improvement opportunities and leads initiatives to implement improvements

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will require:

  • Have an Associate Degree in a related discipline OR High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution.
  • Have 2 years experience in mechanical Inspection.
  • Have Knowledge of SAP business system is preferred.
  • To be Proficient with computer programs like Microsoft Word, Excel and Access.
  • To be able to follow safety protocols.

  • Working First Shift, hours are 7 AM to 3:30 PM. Different first hours shift available per Manager approval
