Position Overview

The Property Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the administration and workflow of the Davey Property function. This position will provide daily support to the Davey Corporate Property team and our remote locations, by processing all types of property transactions, assisting with maintenance of property database records, coordinating strategic plan/facility improvement initiatives, annual insurance applications and service contracts. There will be additional opportunities and special projects as appropriate. This position is hybrid- full-time in Kent OH, working under general supervision.

Job Classification: The Property Coordinator is a non-exempt full-time employee position.

Job Duties
  • Assist in property database administration, maintenance and reporting of owned and leased property
  • Assist with composting and preparing correspondence to internal and external stakeholders, including landlords
  • Assist with coordination/administration of our strategic plan initiative for assessments and improvements for our field service line facilities
  • Assist with other real estate and leasing tasks as needed
  • Maintain and organize filing systems (electronic and hardcopy)
  • Process check requests and invoices
  • Assist with annual insurance renewals, service contract renewals and budgeting
  • Assist with day-to-day management Kent Corporate HQ facility, including coordinating services for janitorial, coffee, vending, etc.
  • Assist with emergency response plans
  • Interact and communicate with other Davey functions including human resources, accounting, operations, purchasing, legal, safety, etc.
  • Special projects as assigned
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Follow and uphold all company policies, procedures, and work rules.
Qualifications
  • High School Degree or GED. Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of property or office administration/support other relative experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and Adobe Acrobat; SAP and ProLease is a plus
  • Excellent math skills, and ability to solve practical problems
