Position Summary:

In the Sourcing Associate position, you'll excel at managing escalations, supplier cost and contract negotiations, as well as, demonstrate a high level of proficiency in managing supply chains for an assigned group of service providers. You'll have a demonstrated knowledge of Supply Chain best practices and take the lead on proactively identifying and implementing process improvements within the department.

This position works within our TELS business.

  • Uses excellent analytical skills including proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Can leverage real-time data to develop and execute strategies that positively impact our supply chains.

What You'll Do and Impact:

  • Leverage data analytics and reporting sciences to manage assigned service providers, including cost, quality, and fulfillment. Develop effective service provider relationships and ensure successful transition into the Direct Supply portfolio.

  • Negotiate programs for Direct Supply, including costs and incentives. Own escalations and service provider cost and performance negotiations, including large sale opportunity strategy/support, performance metrics, customer service, and sales support.

  • Proactively identify and implement process improvement strategies within the team. Learn and implement Supply Chain best practices and/or tools.

  • Provide reports and analyses on key supply chain metrics. Monitor risk to business continuity with assigned service providers, including redundancy needs, risk mitigation, and contingency plans.

  • Maintain supplier database and documentation. Handle contract creation and negotiations.

  • Leverage Subject Matter Experts in Senior Living and Lines of Business as needed to support day-to-day work, including regulations, requirements, and industry trends. Actively participate as a resource on project teams and/or programs to support business initiatives and objectives.

Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Management, Engineering, Business Management, Business Administration, International Business, or related field of study.

  • 1-3 years of sourcing, negotiation and supply management experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.

  • Ability to travel by car and/or plane up to 10%
