Co-Response Clinician

Are you looking for a new opportunity?

Recovery Resources (a nonprofit comprehensive behavioral health organization) is seeking Clinicians who are passionate about providing quality care to help people triumph over mental illness and addiction. Recovery Resources has partnered regionally with Police & Fire Departments to provide a Care Response Program that supports Police and Fire throughout the region. This new community-based mental response program will take a wholistic approach to mental health and addiction and will be hiring several positions.

As a Co-Response Clinician, you'll be embedded with first responders to facilitate "real-time access in the moment" for residents who may benefit from mental health screening, assessment, and rapid access to support services.

You'll work simultaneously with, but independent from, first responders to quickly answer calls, live or remote (telehealth). You will follow up with residents for wellness checks and assess if basic needs are met, and residents are linked to needed services. As a Co-Response Clinician, you'll develop a guide/directory of services and agencies available in which to refer residents. You'll be part of an interdisciplinary team to review each day's mental/behavioral health calls/incidents and develop communication processes within the team.

Recovery Resources benefits include competitive salary along with

  • Health, dental and vision insurance
  • Health savings account
  • Life insurance
  • Paid time off
  • Retirement plan
  • Tuition reimbursement
  • 11 paid holidays and two floating holidays
Qualifications

Minimum qualification for the position include:

  • Master's degree or equivalent in social work, clinical counseling or related human services field
  • One year of relevant experience
  • LPC or LSW license
  • A commitment to the mission of enhancing public safety through community-centered approaches to prevention and intervention.
