Job Description

Kids' College Instructors will develop and teach classes for the summer Kids' College program. Classes are offered from students in grades 1-3 and 4-7.

Instructor assignments can vary from half-day to full-day, single week or multiple weeks. Class topics are agreed upon between instructors and the Kids' College Program Director.

Instructors will develop and implement one hour and/or one and one-half hour classes appropriate for elementary and school-age students. Instructors are responsible for engagement of all students in the class as well as attendance and classroom management. Instructors will work with the Kids' College Program Director and Administrative Assistant to request and order materials, complete necessary paperwork, and attend instructor training, as needed (approximately once/year).

Teaching license and experience teaching elementary and/or middle school students preferred. Creativity and love of kids a must!

Ability to develop appropriate activities and implement classes for elementary and middle school students required.
