The Director of Fulfillment Operations leads operations for several fulfillment sites within a defined geographic region. They develop current and future fulfillment site leaders while promoting a culture of high performance and engagement. They lead through operational excellence and delivering top-tier customer service, they prioritize listening, removing success barriers, and best practice implementation in collaboration with store operations.

What You'll Do

  • Direct annual and long-term business planning, aligning with regional needs and company objectives with a focus on business outcomes like NPS, Cost per Unit, on-time delivery, shipment quality, associate retention, and engagement.
  • Motivate fulfillment location leaders to exceed business goals by aligning them with company mission, vision, values, and strategy.
  • Oversee the talent cycle, including selection, onboarding, training, development, and performance management.
  • Effectively manage market P&L, maximizing profits and minimizing losses.
  • Evaluate and enhance leadership and associate capabilities to meet business needs, prioritizing development activities and succession planning.
  • Partner with field stakeholders to improve regional processes, ensuring exceptional end-to-end fulfillment experiences and driving best practice adoption.
  • Frequently review performance and opportunities with fulfillment leaders to ensure goals are met or exceeded.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant Federal, state, and local regulations including OSHA, CDL, DOT, and MHE within the region.

What You'll Need

  • 7-10 years of leadership and supervisory experience, including managing other leaders.
  • 7-10 years of experience in supply chain, fulfillment, or distribution segments preferred.
  • Multi-site management experience required.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to leverage data for strategic decisions and operational success.
  • Effective communication style, delivering clear and succinct messages to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to exceed KPIs in service-oriented industries, prioritizing quality, business partnerships, and customer outcomes.
  • People-first mentality with a solution-oriented approach.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% with the ability to work at a physical Fulfillment location within the region and be within an hour of a major airport.

Base Pay Range Min - Max (in $USD):

$117,875.00 - $206,025.00
