Position Summary:

Responsible for managing, developing Corporate Wintel team. Plan and manage resources to deliver the optimum computer solutions. Promote systems solutions to management problems. Develop Corporate strategic plans in accordance with management expectations and needs, incorporate enterprise systems solutions, and support divisional IT directions and goals.

Works with Corporate staff personnel reporting to the Enterprise Manager. Supervises and supports the department projects and initiatives. Close interaction with all the corporate IT departments is essential.

Responsibilities:

This role is subject to Export Control Restrictions (ITAR) and all applicants must be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, Refugee, or Asylee.

  • Develop strategies and roadmaps for the compute platform.
  • Implements and maintains practices and policies for standard operation and performance.
  • Directs the implementation and maintenance of systems and services providing essential business functions (e.g. major manufacturing functions, engineering services or office capabilities).
  • Manage the efficiency and effectiveness of these systems or services against the guidelines required to meet user requirements.
  • Reviews and maintains the compliance and security of systems to established standards in order to assure future flexibility and maintainability.
  • Supports team development and training needs.
  • Works on special projects with group and Corporate IT departments.
  • Prepares IT budget plan, forecast and subsequent implementation.
  • Oversees adherence to Corporate IT standards, directions and goals.
  • Recruits, trains and develops staff to deploy these services as required.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 8+ years' experience within the Information Technology industry required.
  • Previous experience leading and managing a team.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Professionalism: Excellence, timeliness and completeness of work; responsible; team attitude; interest in educating others; positive presentation and appearance.

Managerial skills: Oral/written communication, coaching/mentoring/team building, customer service, organization and planning.

Technological: Experience of working with VMware solutions, as well as supporting Microsoft technologies in a datacentre environment.
