Position Description: Assist in the purchase of electrical/mechanical equipment, manage and support multiple clients.

Reports to: Supply Chain Product Manager

Essential Duties & Responsibilities *:

  • Provide technical and contract support for business units and internal staff.
  • Maintain and update the Turner Logistic bid tabs, coordination matrices, and scopes of work.
  • Coordinate monthly operations calls.
  • Assist in vendor supply chain management and respond to changes affecting market delivery.
  • Assist Logistics Manager in soliciting vendor pricing and analyze bids.
  • Administer Turner Logistics bid application and troubleshoot and train Turner Logistics employees and vendors.
  • Support business units with RFP's.
  • Prepare reports by product and vendor for vendor meetings.
  • Attend and document factory witness tests.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with a minimum of one year of experience or equivalent building construction experience and summer internship/co-op experience in construction highly desirable. Knowledge of contract, subcontract documents, drawings and specifications. Knowledge and understanding of emerging technologies and products. Must have good interpersonal and teamwork skills, desire to learn, and ability to communicate well, both verbally and in writing. Should be proficient with computer applications.
