Description

Activities and Responsibilities include the below but are not limited to

  • Responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Practices safe work habits and follows all safety procedures
  • Identifies unsafe working conditions and implements corrective actions
  • Forklift and/or crane certified, if required by process
  • Performs quality checks on products before and after process
  • Identifies, understands, and solves quality issues in the process
  • Assists Technicians and Engineering to investigate process issues and solve them
  • Monitors TMC and TMB quality and ensures all required quality checks are performed
  • Understands all area gauges and monitors for calibration and serviceability
  • Completes paperwork in conjunction to assigned tasks
  • Ability to run machines on the shop floor, as needed
  • Sets up and performs multiple quality tests
  • Accurately compiles, analyses and provides reporting on statistical data
  • Performs process capability analyses
  • Prepares reports on testing results
  • Defines problems and reports all issues with material to management for analysis and disposition
  • Calibration of test and measuring equipment. Will work with outside vendors for the calibration and purchasing of gauging equipment
  • Analyze linear motion components returned from customer/field. Measures various physical properties and characteristics. Will document investigations in technical reports
