Job Description

Analyze, perform, and review certain tasks of Treasury Services on a global basis, with a focus on North America, including cash reconciliation and positioning, liquidity concentration, investing short-term cash, transacting foreign currency, and tracking key performance indicators

Essential Functions:
* Perform the daily cash management duties for Corporate Treasury including account reconciliation, cash positioning and periodic reporting
* Transact commercial paper, short term investments and FX in line with Treasury strategy and policy
* Maintain and develop all aspects of Parker's Treasury software
* Coordinate and analyze activities associated with liquidity management including cross-border cash pooling, system automation, cash flow forecasting, and optimization of interest expense
* Develop and maintain all aspects of the inter-company payments netting system including associated software application
* Act as liaison to banks in accordance with company's policy on bank relationship management
* Develop and maintain all aspects of the Bank Account Management System (BAMS)
* Provide back-up for US and/or global activities as required
* Publish updates to treasury manual, policies and procedures in accordance with documented Sarbanes and Oxley compliant internal controls
* Provide recommendations in order to achieve state-of-the-art regional and global treasury services consistent with the principles of Lean and the Win Strategy
* Support the Assistant Treasurer, Global Treasury Manager and/or Treasury Manager with projects as needed
* Team with other members of Parker Treasury Team, Parker Finance Function, and Parker Groups/Divisions in order to carry out the above functions
* Work schedule flexibility to accommodate role responsibilities. For example, it may be necessary to begin the workday at 7:00 a.m. and end at 4:00 p.m. in order to best issue commercial paper on a given day.
* Occasional international travel

Qualifications:
Education and Certification:
* University Degree
* Certification in Corporate Treasury from global/national/regional association such as AFP, ACT, etc. preferred

Experience:
* Demonstrated experience (3+ years) and success within international treasury in a large, multinational corporate environment.
* Alternatively, broad and in-depth experience (5+ years) within finance or accounting in a large, multinational corporate environment.
