Position Summary/Essential Duties:

* Maintains professional behavior and UH core qualities.

* Provides appropriate patient and family focused, relationship-based care following American Art Therapy Association standards of care (assess needs, implement, and evaluate art therapy interventions and document outcomes).

* Collaborates and communicates with the healthcare team to deliver patient and family care.

* Participates in trainings, team meetings, rounds as appropriate to function as a team-member and uphold the AT/MT Department and UH system missions. This may also include supervision of graduate interns.

* Takes responsibility for self-development and supports a learning environment (attends professional development opportunities, keeps up to date with relevant research and publications, continuing education).
