Case Western Reserve University invites applications for one or more full-time lecturer positions to design and lead writing-intensive seminars in STEM fields, including environmental studies and medical humanities. These courses will be offered through our SAGES curriculum (). Qualified applicants will have a Ph.D. by January 2024 and experience and/or commitment to teaching discussion-based and writing-intensive courses at the college level. The position appointment is for three semesters, from January 2024 through May 2025, teaching 3 seminars per semester. Rank: Lecturer, non-tenure-track (with benefits).

Please send a cover letter, CV, a brief (~200 word) description of a STEM-oriented seminar you would be prepared to offer, and a statement that explains how diversity, equity, and inclusion inform your past and/or future professional experience (scholarship, teaching, service). If you are chosen to interview for the position, two letters of recommendation that speak to your teaching experience and ability will be required.
