Job Title: Metal Tradesman

The primary function of this role is to handle material, weld assemblies and operate a plasma cutter. In addition to loading and unloading trucks, driving a forklift and operator a yard crane. This role reports directly to the Mechanical Fabrication Manager. This position is part of the Plumbers And Pipefitters Local Union #219.

Essential Duties / Responsibilities:

• Handling material such as cutting/punching angle iron.
• Welding assemblies.
• Operating a plasma cutter.
• Loading and unloading trucks, driving a forklift and operating a yard crane.

Education / Work Experience:

• High Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years' experience in welding is required.
• Strong mechanical background is required.
• Valid driving license with clean driving record is required.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 75 pounds is required.
