Department Description

The FOX Sports Ohio/SportsTime Ohio communications, digital, and social media departments work to meet goals of driving tune-in to our television networks and supports our team partnerships through media relations efforts and various digital platforms including FOXSportsOhio.com, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and SnapChat accounts.

Activities / Projects

• Help create video, graphics and other multimedia content for use on our digital/social platforms
• Develop and work with digital/social team on idea and script-writing process for original content (short-form video, longer-form video, live social productions, etc.)
• Research stats, find player/team social media content, storylines, etc. for potential usage in digital original content
• Log video footage, soundbites, analysis from our teams and talent
• Assist in posting written and multimedia content to FOXSportsOhio.com, Twitter, Facebook and YouTube
• Update social platform analytics and data

• Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop; Knowledge of After Effects
• Basic knowledge of shooting and video production with an eye toward digital production
• Competency with social media including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and SnapChat
• Attending an accredited college or university with a marketing, business or communications-themed line of study

• Sound PR and news judgment with experience in an editorial setting

• Understanding of (or willingness to learn more about) management systems for posting web and social content
• Interest and some background knowledge on Ohio sports teams including the Blue Jackets, Cavaliers, Indians, Reds and Browns
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds

To participate in Fox's Internship program you must meet the following criteria:

• Applicants must be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited university and be sophomore status or above.
• Be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship by the Company.
• Housing is not provided, so please have a housing option guaranteed before applying.
